Millville, Arizona is a ghost town located along the San Pedro River near present-day Tombstone. Established in the early 1880s, Millville was built to support the silver boom in Tombstone by housing stamp mills that processed ore from the nearby mines. At its height, Millville had several mills, a boarding house, and workers' quarters. However, when the silver boom declined and flooding damaged the mills, the town was quickly abandoned by the late 1880s. Today, only stone foundations and ruins remain, hidden among mesquite trees, offering a quiet reminder of the once-thriving industrial settlement tied to Tombstone’s mining heyday.
