Congressman Andy Biggs Returns to Sierra Vista as Guest Speaker for Lincoln Dinner

Updated: May 30

Sierra Vista, AZ — Congressman Andy Biggs, who is currently running for Governor of Arizona, will return to Cochise County as the featured guest speaker at this year’s Lincoln Dinner. The event, hosted by the Cochise County Republican Committee, will take place on Saturday, June 21 at 6 p.m. in Sierra Vista.

Joining Congressman Biggs will be a lineup of prominent conservative voices, including Arizona Speaker of the House Steve Montenegro, Arizona GOP Chair Gina Swoboda, and fellow Congressman Juan Ciscomani. Special guests also include State Senator David Gowan, State Representatives Gail Griffin and Lupe Diaz, and Cochise County Recorder Billy Cloud.

Congressman Biggs announced his candidacy for Governor in January and received a key endorsement from former President Donald Trump last month. Known for his strong conservative record and vocal stance on border security, Biggs is aiming to bring his message to voters across rural Arizona.

Elected in 2016 to represent Arizona’s Fifth Congressional District, Biggs currently serves on the House Judiciary Committee—where he chairs the Subcommittee on Crime and Federal Government Surveillance—and on the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee. He is also the Co-chair of the Border Security Caucus and a founding member of the bipartisan War Powers Caucus.

Biggs has frequently visited Cochise County, meeting with Sheriff Mark Dannels and other local officials to address border security challenges. His previous experience includes eight years in the Arizona House of Representatives and six years in the Arizona State Senate, where he was elected Senate President in 2012.

The Lincoln Dinner is a major annual event for the local Republican Party, offering attendees a chance to hear directly from candidates, elected officials, and party leaders.

Event Location: 156 W Kayetan Dr, Sierra Vista, AZ
