Buena High School Senior Aliaz Dyson Receives College Football OfferAliaz Dyson, a 17-year-old senior at Buena High School in Sierra Vista, started his football journey when he was just six years old. Growing up in Sierra Vista, Dyson's love for football was nurtured by his father, who coached him from a young age, while his mother consistently cheered him on.

"I am originally from here in Sierra Vista," Dyson shares, reflecting on his journey. "I’ve always loved football and my parents have always been there pushing me to be the best I can be a rooting me on."

Dyson says their unwavering support has undoubtedly played a pivotal role in Dyson's development as a player. His dedication and hard work have earned him key positions on the Buena High School team, where he excels as a wide receiver, defensive back, and punt and kick returner.Dyson's appreciation for the sport goes beyond personal achievement.

 

"I think football is the ultimate team sport, and the teammates and coaches I’ve had over the years have really helped me to the point I’m at in my high school career," he explains. As he prepares for his final high school season, Dyson is determined to make it one to remember. "Right now, I’m focused on this upcoming football season with my guys. We have business to take care of this season."

 

Beyond high school, Dyson has ambitious plans. He is considering a future in law or business, recognizing his interest in the business world. Recently, Dyson received an offer from Wabash College, but he hasn't made a final decision yet while he upcoming college visits planned. He has been invited to visit Pacific University and Western Colorado University to meet with coaches. "I still have a couple of visits to do for college, but I definitely had a great time with Wabash," he says. Dyson is looking forward to his upcoming college visits and making the right decision when the time comes. He continues to focus on his upcoming senior season with Buena while considering the big career decisions ahead of him.
