Tombstone Producer Bob Misiorowski Coming to Sonoita for Exclusive Film Screening

SONOITA, Ariz. — Fans of the legendary Western film Tombstone have a rare opportunity to experience the movie like never before—through the eyes of one of its producers. The Mountain Empire Rotary Club is hosting a special evening with Hollywood producer Bob Misiorowski, who will present an exclusive screening of the 1993 blockbuster, along with live commentary and a Q&A session.
The event will be a dive into behind-the-scenes details of one of the most iconic Westerns ever made. Guests will get to hear firsthand from Misiorowski about the production process, the cast, and the filming of legendary scenes that brought Tombstone's history to life.
The evening includes a buffet dinner, two drink tickets per guest, and access to a cash bar for additional beverages. Attendees are encouraged to refresh their knowledge by re-watching the film in advance and come prepared with questions for the Q&A portion of the event.
Adding to the excitement is a costume contest—guests are invited to “dress to impress Doc Holliday,” channeling high fashion from 1881 Tombstone. A $100 cash prize will be awarded for the best dressed. No weapons of any kind are allowed at the event.
Proceeds benefit the community improvement projects of the Mountain Empire Rotary Club, which continues to support vital local initiatives throughout the region.
