Ranch Rodeo & Chuck Wagon Cook-off
A Step Back in Time to the Western Frontier
April 11-13, 2025

Step back in time to the rugged days of the Old West at the Willcox West Fest and Chuck Wagon Cook-off, a weekend celebration that brings the frontier spirit to life. Held in historic Willcox, this annual event showcases authentic chuckwagon cooking, thrilling ranch rodeo competitions, and wild horse racing, making it a must-attend gathering for families, history buffs, and western enthusiasts.
Beyond the delicious, frontier-style cooking, guests can enjoy ranch rodeo competitions, where skilled cowboys and cowgirls demonstrate their talents in this classic rodeo sport. As the sun sets, the festival’s campfire gatherings provide the perfect setting for roasting hotdogs and s’mores, sharing stories, and soaking in the Western way of life.
The Jeff Collup Memorial Roping event will start at 6:00pm Friday.

The festival kicks off at noon on Friday, April 11, and runs through Sunday morning, April 13, at Quail Park. Visitors will get a firsthand look at how meals were prepared on the open range, with chuckwagons firing up their cast-iron pots and serving homemade food in a competition for the best chuckwagon fare.
Enjoy a Chuck Wagon Lunch Saturday at noon. Tickets will go on sale starting at 10am at the venue.

For those looking to unwind, a beer and wine garden will be available, featuring local favorites to sip while taking in the sights and sounds of the festival. Live music performances will fill the air, adding to the lively atmosphere of the celebration.
