YOUTH SWIM LESSONS (6mo-17yrs) The Cove will offer weekday (Monday through Thursday) swim lessons throughout the summer for children 6 months to 17 years of age. Registration for all sessions is now open. The cost is $55 per youth and includes eight 30-minute classes. Please call The Cove at (520) 417-4800 or visit SierraVistaAZ.gov/Cove for more information. Hummingbird Triathlon (ages 10+) Swim 800 yards, bike 13 miles, and run 5 kilometers at Sierra Vista’s Annual Hummingbird Triathlon! Compete as an individual, or as a member of a female, male, or coed team in this chip-timed race. Open to ages 10 and up. Register early to save some money and guarantee your event T-shirt and swag from our sponsors. The race starts and finishes at The Cove. Register on Active.com. 2025 Fall Coronado Sports Club Coed Recreational Soccer League The City of Sierra Vista has partnered with the Coronado Athletic Club to provide a fall recreational soccer league. The season is scheduled to run mid-September to early December. Registration is open for children born between 2006 – 2020. Parents can add a practice jersey for an additional $15 and/or a supporter jersey for an additional $30. $90 per youth by August 3, $100 afterwards | Registration closes August 23

Basic Archery (Ages 10+) Learn the fundamentals of archery and become a better archer with USA Archery Level 3 National Training System (NTS) coach Matthew Irlmeier and his team of certified instructors. You will learn correct form and technique using supplied equipment or you may bring your own. You will learn the parts that make up the bow and arrow, how to use the equipment safely, aiming, correct arrow release, shot sequence, and more. Archery is a great family activity and family enrollment is encouraged. Advanced Archery (Ages 10 +) This archery class is for students who have completed the basic archery course or for experienced archers. USA Archery Level 3 National Training System (NTS) coach Matthew Irlmeier and his team of certified instructors will help individuals improve on their basic archery skills as well as introduce advanced archery techniques. You may use the supplied equipment or bring your own. You will also learn what to expect when competing in local, state, and national competitions. Family enrollment is encouraged. Ages 10 to adult. TEEN TABLETOP (teens ages 12 and up) The monthly adventure continues! Experienced players and newbies are welcome to join as we embark on short campaigns and one-offs with pre-made characters or original creations. Dungeon & Dragons and other cooperative boardgames will be explored. This program is for teens ages 12 and up. Manga Mania (ages 10 to 13) Join us for this program just for middle-school-age tweens. Each month we’ll get together and discuss all things manga and anime. Tweens can share fan art, debate their favorite series, try Japanese snacks, make manga-themed crafts, and more. This program is just for youth ages 10 to 13. Teen Crafternoon (ages 12-17) Try your hand at a different craft every month from DIY projects to textile arts and beyond! Check the library flyers and calendars for each month’s project. Murder at the Museum: A Teen Mystery Dinner (ages 12-17) Calling all teenage sleuths for an evening of roleplaying, hilarity, and intrigue! You have been invited to the world-renowned Rall Museum of Modern Art to celebrate the premier of Raphaela I, Pallet’s newest art collection. However, the cosmopolitan evening comes to a halt when the artist drops dead mere moments before the unveiling. It is now up to you and the rest of the party to uncover the killer among them. Paper Lanterns Unleash your creativity! Craft paper lantern goldfish! With just a little paper, glue, color, plastic, and fairy lights, you’ll bring a glowing lantern to life. Crochet for Kids (Ages 8 – 15) Are you interested in learning how to crochet? Do you have a crochet project you need a little help with? Come crochet!
