Sierra Vista is set to light up the skies as it celebrates Independence Day with two days of festivities at Veterans Memorial Park.

About the event
The celebration begins on Thursday, July 3, with the Street Dance, hosted by the Sierra Vista Rotary Club. From 5 to 11 p.m., enjoy food vendors, a beer garden, and live music from 5 to 10 p.m. On Friday, July 4, the day kicks off with the Pets and People Promenade, hosted by New Frontier Animal Medical Center. Check-in and photos run from 7 to 8 a.m., with the promenade taking place from 8 to 8:30 a.m. Judging will be held at 8:35 a.m. Participants can register by visiting newfrontieramc.com or calling 520-459-0433. Registration closes at 5 p.m. on Friday, June 27. Live music will be from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. at the Centennial Pavilion. The Fort Huachuca Military Displays are from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and the Salute to the Union Ceremony will be 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Fireworks start at dusk, 8:05 to 9 p.m.
