Summer’s arrival in Arizona’s wine country kicks off with a splash of pink as local wineries celebrate National Rosé Day on Saturday, June 14. Wineries across Sonoita and Elgin are offering special discounts, pairing flights, and live music to showcase the versatility and vibrancy of rosé wines.
Among the participating vineyards is AZ Hops and Vines, a local favorite known for its creative pairings and fun events. Co-owners Shannon Zouzoulas and her sister, Megan Stranik, realized their dream of opening the winery 14 years ago. Now, their charismatic vineyard is a beloved spot for wine lovers seeking a lively, friendly atmosphere with some farm flair.
For National Rosé Day, AZ Hops and Vines will offer rosé wine pairing flights, live music, and a 10% discount on Grounded, 2023 Wilcox Grenache Rosé. “We’re excited to be part of this celebration,” said Shannon Zouzoulas. “It’s a great way to highlight the freshness and versatility of rosé while enjoying some great tunes and a relaxed summer vibe.”
More than half of the wineries in the Sonoita-Elgin region will join the celebration, offering deals and special events.
