Lazul Health Opens in Willcox, Offering Primary Care and Wellness Services

WILLCOX, Ariz. — Kristian Abarca, a certified nurse practitioner with a passion for care, is opening Lazul Health in Willcox on June 2, 2025. The new health clinic is an extension of her existing medical spa, Lazul Aesthetics & Wellness, founded in 2023, and aims to meet the unique needs of the community. “The expansion was a natural step forward, driven by a growing demand for more personalized healthcare,” Abarca said.

Originally from Clovis, New Mexico, Abarca and her family moved to Willcox in 2018. Since then, she has been dedicated to blending natural approaches with evidence-based Western medicine in her practice. “I wanted to create a space where patients feel empowered to choose options that align with their needs, values, and beliefs,” she said. Lazul Health will provide primary care services for patients of all ages, with a focus on preventative care and chronic disease management. Beyond traditional primary care, Abarca specializes in hormone optimization, laser services, and cosmetic injectables. She began her nursing qualifications in 2010 and completed her Doctorate in Nursing from Bradley University in 2020.

The launch of Lazul Health marks Abarca’s third business venture in just two years, a significant achievement while balancing family life. She says that while it is challenging, she finds her passion for health care incredibly rewarding. “I’m especially excited about introducing new services that support both wellness and aesthetics in a meaningful way.”

To make healthcare more accessible, Lazul Health is introducing a direct primary care membership option for uninsured patients. "I’m incredibly grateful for the time, effort, and care they’ve put into bringing this vision to life." She hopes her clinic will leave every patient feeling seen, heard, and cared for.

As part of her commitment to the community, Abarca and her team have supported local groups such as the Elks Club, Quarterback Club, youth sports leagues, the local theater, the hospital, and school programs.

Lazul Health is currently accepting both in-clinic and telehealth appointments.
