Federal Agents Raid Home in Willcox Tuesday Morning

WILLCOX, Ariz. (SVL) — Federal agents executed a search warrant at a home on Arizona Avenue in Willcox on Tuesday morning, leading to the arrest of a U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) employee.

The operation began around 8:00 a.m., when agents with the CBP Office of Professional Responsibility arrived in unmarked vehicles at the residence and began calling out for the occupants to come outside. A video of the incident was captured on camera.

CBP has confirmed an employee was arrested on multiple allegations, including child sex trafficking, fraudulent schemes, and pandering. The name of the employee has not been publicly released.

Throughout the day, agents were seen collecting bags of evidence from the property.

“CBP stresses honor and integrity in every aspect of our mission, and the overwhelming majority of CBP employees and officers perform their duties with honor and distinction, working tirelessly every day to keep our country safe,” a spokesperson said. “An arrest is merely an allegation. The defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.” -CBP
